Terms and Conditions
At Loveit cakes we take pride in ensuring that we deliver you the best products we can. We have a fully council registered studio and have food handling certificates.
Please make sure you choose the correct date. We will no longer offer refund on orders selected on the wrong date.
We do not offer a refund on products for change of mind.
If your cake is cancelled 2 months prior to your event a $55.00 administration fee will be deducted from your order.
If your cake is cancelled 14 days prior to your event the full payment will be forfeited. You will receive a store credit for the total amount of your order. Order cancellation within the a week will not be eligible for a store credit.
If for some unforeseeable reason we have to cancel your order a full refund will be provided to you. We will do our best to help you find another cake maker that can help with your order.
COVID 19 Cancelations
In such uncertain times we understand that we may be locked down at any point no matter how close your event may be.
In this instance if we are locked down within 14 days of your event we are more than happy to tentatively book another date for your order. This is also the case with Isolation.
If your order is near or has been completed you will be required collect your order.
If you cant collect an order due to isolation we may be able to arrange delivery ( at an extra fee )
In some instances we may be able to arrange to store your order if it is a cake. This may mean the cake will need to be re-decorate it at a later date with an additional cost. This includes an additional fee for fresh flowers if they need to be re-purchased and other decorations.
Payment will not be refundable at this stage.
We understand that things may happen, and if you need to move your date please notify us in writing. Your new date will be subject to availability.
Variations from pictured items
Product variation in colours and other decorations may also occur. We do our best to replicate our designs but each time we make an item it will slightly differ.
We take great care in the way we prepare our cakes so they are internally supported and sturdy enough to travel.
We recommend that your cake is placed on a flat surface (not the seat of a car) for example the boot or the floor of the car.
Once your cake has been picked up, please be careful. We are not liable for damage that may occur once it is in your care. If the damage can be repaired, there will be an additional fee.
Please do not store Fondant (rolled icing) cakes in the fridge. Store in a cool dry place.
Buttercream cakes should be stored in the fridge (in its box) as the icing will become soft especially on a warm day.
If your cake is on display please ensure it is out the elements (Sun & Rain) Failure to display the cake correctly may result in fading, colour bleeding, cracks or melting.
We outsource our deliveries to an independent company. We cannot give a specific time frame in which they will be delivered. If the recipient isn't home to collect the item upon delivery the company will do their best to contact them ,however if they aren't able to be contacted the item will be left in the safest possible place out of the weather. If their isn't an option out of the elements it will be left at the front door however we take no responsibility for this if something goes wrong. If you are concerned about this please make sure someone will be home to collect the items.
